OUCH!

I broke my foot. I stubbed my toe on A SHOE and broke my toe. I can't believe it. My toe has turned completely black and purple. It is gonna be a tough couple days.

Ian is doing good, he has mastered sitting up and we had to take the mobile off the crib today because he sat up in bed and was yanking at it. He has been trying to pull himself up on everything too, but so far only made it up in the tub.

We got some of his Christmas presents yesterday, a few toys, and sleepers and some stuff he needs. I totally can't wait till Christmas! I will take loads of pics.

Our anniversary went well, we had a babysitter and went to Harry Potter. It was pretty good, better than any of the others. But I wouldn't take a kid to it. It is really dark and scary! The one thing I missed was Harry's Muggle relatives being mean to him. That was always so satisfying. All in all pretty good show.

Not much else to say, so here are a couple pics taken only an hour and a half ago:

Happy Anniversary

To start off, thanks everybody for your comments! Especially from my squisters, its good to know you are keeping up with us here.

Secondly, I would like to wish myself a happy anniversary! 2 years down, 48 to go and then we can get some gold stuff for presents. Anyway, we have a babysitter and a fabulous date planned. Harry Potter here we come!

Thirdly, we got a camera cable finally. So I have a huge whack of pics to upload, please check the photo album for new pics. It also means I will be able to put NEW pics up daily, pics taken that day! So all you faithfull followers can see how Ian is doing today. Lucky you!

I also wanted to put in a pretty good review for you all. We rented War of the Worlds yesterday and the movie was surprisingly good. Tom Cruise starts off pretty unlikable, I kept saying "get back to your kids you dick!" but as the movie went on it became very powerful. Also it was less actiony and more scary than most alien movies. I was really scared at some points. But the best thing I found was the reaction of the people. You know in movies like Independance day, humankind bands together and overcomes everything; the invasion brings out the best in people. Well I found this much more indicitive of what people would do in the situation, looting, desperation, and violence. It was nice to see a movie with more than just special effects.

(by the way another movie that is more than just special effects is I Robot, but I don't need to go into that here, I have to get on with uploading my photos.)

In the mean time, my fave pic of all the new ones is this:

My Main Man

Mama got to go to a movie today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There just arent enough exclamation points to express my extreme excitement at that!

It was so fun. Travis came home today so he watched Ian and a friend and I went to see the Johnny Cash movie, Walk the Line with Joachim Phoenix as Johnny Cash. He did a pretty good job of it too. My friend thought he was hot. I thought he was pretty good looking as well. It was a good movie, not as good as Ray, though. It had a lot of the same story elements which leaves you feeling a little like you are watching another version of the same movie. All in all I would say it was worth seeing.

Of course, I was excited to see Travis as well...

Actually, I really was happy to see Travis, and he was pretty happy to see me as well. It was a regular family get together here. He traded in all his Norfolk money for real money and we went to dinner. It was our anniversary dinner, just a few days early, and we brought Ian. It was nice, Ian was good, and he was really popular with the staff.

Speaking of Ian, he did something amazing and wonderful today... He STOOD UP! Yep, you heard me, my 6 month old baby STOOD UP! And I don't mean I held him up either. He was in the tub and he turned sideways and put his hands on the side of the tub. Nothing unusual there. Then he got on his one knee and foot. Nothing unusual there, either. Then he just stood up! I swear my jaw hit the floor! It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. I was so proud of him I wanted to run up and tell Travis right away but of course he was in the tub so I didn't. He sure got lots of kisses from Mommy, though.

My baby's becoming a man!

Trav said we can get a USB cable tomorrow so I will finally get some new pics up here. IN the meantime, here is one for today:

Pets and Parks

Well, we took off this afternoon to the Sir Sandford Fleming Park. Probably my favorite park in the whole city because it is so picturesque and because you can always see starfish and sea anemones and what not in the water. I put Ian in the swing and swung him, he really liked that. Did not take pics because camera batteries died today. So I guess batteries are on the shopping list along with USB cable. Then we went walking around and looked at stuff. It was pretty chilly but Ian had on his snow suit and I guess he was cozy enough because he fell asleep.

Also stopped in at the SPCA today. I wanted to see about doing some volunteer work. I filled out an application and likely should hear from them soon. As I may have mentioned to some people, I am thinking of taking a vet assistant course some time in the future and I think it would look good to have some volunteer work in that area. In addition, walking dogs is good exercise. Just think I can have all the benefits of having a dog without having to have a dog! But mostly I want to do volunteer work because this Christmas has really put me in the giving mood.

Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Here is my pic for today, in honour of pets:

I Don't Carrot You Say, I'm Not Eating That!

Gave Ian carrots today for the first time ever. Just about died, it was so funny. You should have seen the look on his face. He made a face like I gave him something rancid, then he tried to swallow but just gagged instead. I gave him about 4 bites altogether. He did manage to swallow it but he didn't look happy. We'll have a few more meals of carrots to test that out.

I took some pictures of Ian last night, he squirmed and wriggled and so I didn't have much luck. I did figure out the white balance on the camera though, so it wasn't a total loss.

Travis emailed me today, he will be home on Sunday. So we are very happy about that as it means we will be able to spend our anniversary together. We already have a babysitter and everything. I am pretty excited about it all.

In Celebrity News, Nick and Jessica finally dissolved their sham of a marriage. And you know what I have to say about that? Who cares??? Why is this on all the news and radio? Why does anybody care, Who is Nick Lashay anyway? Why can't Jessica Simpson sing anything good? And does this mean Newlyweds is cancelled, cuz that's like my favorite show!

Just kidding. I wouldn't watch that crap.

Here is today's Pic:

New Segment

Inspired by the movie Napoleon Dynamite, I have added a new segment to my blog. It is a list of Ian's Awesome Skills. Please check that list out!

(list long since deleted, so unable to transport. But lets all take a moment to remember it...)

6 Months

Well folks, the little man has made it half a year, happy as ever. And he survived his shots. He barely even cried. He cried while the shots were delivered but as soon as the needle was removed he stopped crying. And now he has cute matching bandaids!

Doctor weighed him in at about 22 lbs. So my scale was roughly right, as I was guessing 23 or 24 lbs. He is still OVER the 95th percentile for length and weight, 75th for head circ.

Big day for Mama today too...I finally got my driver's licence! Only 13 years since I took my first learner's test too! Any congratulatory free cars or other gifts will be accepted gratefully. In case anybody is wondering how I managed to drive the last couple years it is because I had the intermediate licence, no driving after midnight etc etc etc.

As I mentioned, Ian is 6 months today, so some pictures will be taken later on, and hopefully I shall be able to get them posted this weekend or early next week. Until then, here is my pic for today:

Oh, Crap!

There I was watching tv and I looked and saw Ian playing happily on the floor, and I was struck suddenly by overwhelming love for him (as often happens). So I go down on the floor pick him up, lay him on my tummy and start hugging him. I kissed him and hugged him and loved him the whole time wondering how I got something wet on my arm....

So I looked at said arm and saw that his back was poopy. When I squeezed him I squeezed the poop right out of the diaper and up his back, then hugged him and smeared it all over. I was amazingly revolted! So for the first time ever I had to take that boy down, peel his poopy clothes off and give him a bath. First poop induced bath ever!

We lived though. It was actualy a pretty wierd day. Ian woke up at 3:45 in the morning and would not go to sleep. I went in to make sure his foot wasn't stuck, straightened him out, put him back on his back, whatever. At one point, (about 6:30) I actually picked him up and cuddled him because he was freaking out so much. Then I laid him back down and went back to bed (for about the hundredth time)

I could hear him in there gasping like kids do when they calm down after crying too hard. Then he gasped. Silence.......Gasp......Silence.......Gasp.......silence....................I got very nervous. I went in there and he was gasping, but in between gasping he would breathe so quietly I couldn't even tell he was breathing. And there were loooooong breaks in between gasping. I was so paranoid I sat there for another half an hour. Then I gave up and went to bed again. It was about 7:30. We both slept till 9:45. It messed with our whole day!

Well, tomorrow Ian is 6 months old. Yay! I can't believe I have been a mama for half a year already! We are celebrating by taking him out early in the morning and having him poked with needles! He's gonna loooove that!! Anyway, I will be sure to let everybody tomorrow know how his doctor appointment goes.

Watched Mulan II this morning. Do I really have to say anything? I mean, anybody who has ever seen a Disney sequel should know better, but here I go again watching Disney sequels. Anyway, the worst thing about it was that they go on this mission to save China. Everybody ends up happy in the end, Mulan gets married, everybody hooks up with everybody else, and MooShoo keeps his job. But there is no mention of whether or not they succeed in saving China!!!!! I almost had a stroke!

Also watched The Terminal today. That is a good movie. Tom Hanks does a pretty good job in it of playing a guy who doesn't speak any English. In fact, it is my opinion that the definition of a good actor is when you forget who it is while you are watching the movie. And I forgot it was Tom Hanks! Good job! I really like the guy who played the airport guy as well. He was in The Core, but I don't know his name. And Catherine Zeta Jones looked perfect as usual. Funny movie, touching and entertaining. Totally recommended by me.

Here is a pic today, an early image of the baby-o:

***Addendum to this post, Stupid MSN spaces deleted the photo so I don't know which photo I had with this post. Sorry folks!***

Exploding Cauliflower

Bought a cauliflower today. I like cauliflower. I cut it up into pieces and cooked some for supper. The rest I cut up and put into baggies and put in the freezer for later. But every time my knife touched the cauliflower, bits of it would fly off! I had cauliflower all over a 10 foot radius of where I was cutting it... stuck to the wall, on the floor, on the windows....Broccoli is so much easier.

Ian managed about 2 crawling steps today, Mama was so proud! Then he fell on his tummy. Then he vomited. Not so proud then. But it's progress. He still can't sit himself up though. Soon I hope. He was baby sat for the first time today. Only half an hour. I went to the grocery store. It was FUN! I got to go get groceries in the pouring dumping rain and blasting gusting wind but I didn't have to rush Baby in and out of the car. Then I went and picked him up (he was good...and he was so happy to see me!) and we went to the library. I did have to ruch baby in and out of the car there, but I couldn't go there without him.

He has also figured out drawers. Damn. I guess it is time to break out that fresh, never been used, still in the package, tag attached, "NO!"

Ian was in a very very good mood today, smiling at every look I gave him, wiggling, and exercising. His favorite exercise? "Standing" on his hands and tippy toes. It looks like some kind of yoga position. He's getting a little baby six pack. Me? I have a big mama keg. But luckily it isn't a beer keg, it is a syrup keg. Cuz I'm so sweet. Hardee har har har.

Well on that dismal note, I will sign off. Have a happy today folks. Here's a pic:

Busy Couple Days

On Sunday we went swimming. Ian had a good time. I sat him on the little island in the middle of the pool and he splashed. He seemed to be having fun but he mostly seemed totally amazed at the place. He sure was cute. He was good while we were changing and all too.

Today we went for a visit across the street. Ian was pretty good there too. Those kids are getting used to him a bit and aren't so in his face when we go over.

To tell the truth though, Yesterday and today were pretty dull. I did housework and watched tv, other than those 2 outings. Nothing much to report! That's why I didn't post yesterday. I just wanted to make sure everyone who may be checking this blog with any regularity knows I am not letting it slip... I just didn't have much to report!

So on that note, here is a pic for today.... as I said, I am running out so sorry if they start repeating!

Great Day!

Before I get into today's news, I just wanted to share something with everybody who reads this web log. I wanted to add The Count of Monte Cristo to my movie list, so I went to search online for a website for it. I found what I was looking for but I also found something very cool. It is a website called The Litrix Reading Room. They have free online books that you can read right on your computer! Isn't that cool? They have The Count of Monte Cristo and many others, most of which are in the public domain. If anybody would like the site, here is the link...

http://www.litrix.com/readroom.htm

Now in Ian news, which I know you all have been waiting for on the edge of your seats...

We went to the mall today and got a picture with the big man...yep, Santa. The real guy. So Ian has now officially met his first celebrity! He was so cute sitting on Santy's knee, and he smiled big for the camera. I was so proud of him. I almost cried!

All this has definitly put me in the holiday spirit, so I believe I will try to decorate this place for Christmas. In the mean time, here is my favorite pic for today (of course)...

crazy internet lady

I have been crazy internet lady lately, what with this blog, a message board and my email. After Ian goes to bed I have been doing a lot of web activity and it got to me a bit yesterday so I shut the computer off and watched a movie.

Count of Monte Cristo. I rented it almost 2 weeks ago and it had to go back soon so I figured I better finally watch it. Good thing Blockbuster has no late fees! Anyway, for those of you who have never seen it, here is a summary:

It is based on the novel by Alexandre Dumas, the same man who wrote The Three Musketeers. I haven't read this book yet, so I can't say if it is better than the movie, but I should say that the movie is pretty damn good. The plot is about a man who is wrongly imprisoned and who finally takes revenge on the people who put him there. It is basically a perfect movie. You got a hot guy, 3 bad guys including one guy who is evil because he can be, one guy who is evil because of ambition, and one super bad guy who has no human feeling at all and resents anybody else who does. Then you have epic romance, rags to riches, and famous historical figures (in the personage of Napoleon Bonaparte), all spiced with beautiful costumes and art direction, dramatic sword fighting, stunning revelations, and some twists and turns, and all in all it makes one of the most entertaining movies I have seen in recent years. Maybe that is why this is the third time I have rented it. Sigh. Maybe I should buy the damn thing!

Anyhoo, so that is why I didn't post last night.

As for today, well Ian fell on his face int the tub. It has happened before, I am always sitting right there. The reason this time was special is because when I pulled him out of the water he didn't even cry! He just spluttered a bit and then smiled and went right back to playing with his tub toys. What a brave boy I have!

He was chatting up a storm today too. Blablablablabla. Every time I looked at him he started blabbing on and on. He doesn't usually talk too much so that was nice. And he only got stuck under the tv 73 million times as apposed to his usual 86 billion times. Big improvement there, haha.

Oh, and he has managed to get on his hands and knees several times. He goes up and down like that and works his way backwards away from what he was trying to reach. Poor little guy. It's so cute when he gets frustrated.

So here's my pic for today. I think I am running out, I have taken lots more but I have to borrow the cable to get them on my computer so in the mean time we may need to go without for a while,

sooooo exhausted

It's those darn christmas cards! I got my box of cards and started writing to everyone and after an hour I am maybe 10 % done and a sore right hand. I don't even have that many to send (about 50 or so) but I like to put a personal message in instead of a printed one and so it is more work. Well, I don't like to put a personal message in, but I have no printer! haha!

I don't have very many real pictures, just the ones on line. so some people may not get them. But if you are one of the unlucky ones, feel free to print any off of here that you like.

We went to walmart today to get the cards, and I wandered around for quite some time. Ian started off sitting in the front of the cart. It was his very first time! I always put him in the little baby seat cart before but yesterday at the grocery store he kept trying to sit himself up so I figured he had graduated. Anyway, he made it about 20 minutes before he started nodding off, so I put him on my coat in the main part of the cart and he conked right out. He looked so cute sleeping there with his thumb in his mouth and his little tummy peeking out from under his shirt that I kept strolling around the store eliciting admiring comments from strangers.

My walking with the neighbor plan did not turn out today because it was raining and cold and windy. So next time.

And with that, here is today's pic:

No soup For Me!

Went to the grocery store today. No biggie in and of itself but I went all the way to Halifax to do it because I heard they were having a celebrity chef there later this week and I wanted to go. It was all sold out though. Good I guess because of the ticket $30 which I can't really afford but bad because it would have been way cheaper than $42,000! The chef was the guy who will cook dinner for you in the Sears Catalog. I always watch his show on food network and I was looking forward to meeting him. So I don't know if he was gonna make soup or not but alas, no soup for me.

Ian tried to pull himself up on the tv today, he got one foot under him and he was on the other knee. I don't think he planned it very well because next thing you know he was stuck like that. Haha.

I did talk to Jenni yesterday. She pointed out that the commercial I like is a Timho's commercial, not Wendys. So I officially apologize to Timho's for mixing them up with that foul place.

Polar Express:
The book, not the movie. Got it from the library for Ian today and read it to him. Better than I thought it would be as the movie looked so dorky. So I figured I better review it on here. Pretty good book, good story, nice ending. The pictures were nice for a grownup but boring for a baby. Ian did not rip the pages. He tried though!

Here is my pic today:

Video Killed the Baby-o star

Lucky me, I have nice neighbors. My neighbor across the street, the same one who loaned me the baby swing and the car saucer thingy has also loaned me their camcorder. How nice is that! So guess what friends and family, mom, dad, sisters, in laws, and best friend are gonna get a video of Ian for Christmas. I am going to make a tape of him the next few days, edit it, and make a bunch of copies to send to everyone. I am so excited. I already taped him eating supper, playing with his noisy ball toy, and having a bath. I will throw in a tour of my house as well for those who have not yet seen it.

Ian was really cute today. We were rolling him a little soccer ball and he would laugh and laugh. It was great because up until now he has only laughed when you tickle him and even then not all the time.

We are also going to be walking every Mon, wed and Friday. So now I have no excuse; I will have to go because she will be expecting me!

In other news, Travis sailed today. He will be gone a month. It will be sad for him because Ian will be going through so many changes in the next while. But they will be stopping in Norfolk which is a very large navy base. He hopes to have a chance to tour an aircraft carrier when he is there. I know, it sounds mindlessly dull to you and I, but to Travis an aircraft carrier is better than... um... something. I can't think of anything. But you know what I mean.

I can't wait until Travis gets back so we can put up the Christmas tree. We usually do it on the first but not this year. I am really looking forward to Ian's first christmas! I am already in the Holiday Mood.

Here is my pic today. Ian was about 2-3 months old in it. He is way bigger now and his legs hang over the edge!

Lazy Poo

Ok, I know I haven't been posting as much as usual but I have been busier than a little bee lately. Yesterday Travis and I went and got all the stuff we need for Christmas...except actual presents. Eeeep! We got all the stuff we need for Christmas baking and dinner except for the perishable stuff. We got some lights, we got road salt and washer fluid, some cleaning supplies, and a tree. It is a real tree, the first one we ever had! Then of course five minutes after we get it home it started snowing so we stuck it in the stand and put it in the kitchen to drip dry. So all through supper I was trying to do dishes and cook with a gigantic tree in the middle of the kitchen. Blech!

Last night we decorated the tree. It was so nice compared to the fake one we've been using for years. It smells nice and it is the perfect size to fit in the living room window. I was kinda apprehensive about Ian this morning but he hardly paid it any attention.

Speaking of Ian, what a little puppy he's turning out to be. He just follows me everywhere and as soon as I stop long enough for him to catch up he attaches himself to my leg. He's been pulling himself up on the furniture, too, and has fallen a number of times. He has a couple little bruises on his head. He's had some bad looking falls too but I guess it is just a part of being a baby.

Travis and I have a Christmas party to go to on Friday and nothing to wear. I feel like Cinderella. I have a great black dress with pink tulle under the skirt which doesn't fit (thanks Ian, after all I did for you) or a maternity dress. And I think Travis may have put on a little baby weight as well. So I don't know what we will do but I guess we will contrive something. Trav's uncle is babysitting for us. It should be fun anyway, even if we look like a couple of hoboes.
So today I had to shovel again, Luckily it was light fluffy snow so not too much problem. But it was windy so it kept blowing back in my face. I seemed to be busy all day with housework too and I had to wrap some stuff also so not much time for anything fun. I'm pretty worn out and I know I have to keep right on going tomorrow. Plus Travis stepped on my foot yesterday (yes that foot) so it has been hurting today as well.

For today I have a picture of Travis putting the star on the tree. I'll try to get a picture of Ian doing something tomorrow. I'm sure he will do something photogenic. Ha ha!

Snippy Me

I went looking for a snowsuit for Ian today. I went to Sally Ann and I found a snowsuit that was really cute but too small. Then I went to Frenchy's and found a really good snowsuit that fit but was for a girl. It was navy blue with ruffles. RUFFLES! Argh! Snowsuits are so expensive that I just want to get one from a second hand store but I am starting to worry if maybe they all got bought already this year. Oh well, I will try to make it to value village later this week.

We had our friends over tonight. We tried to make fondue. Actually it turned out really yummy, we made pizza fondue for dinner and we made chocolate and Peachy White chocolate fondue for dessert. VERY yummy.

After the kids were in bed we decided to play Monopoly but I was mad at Travis for something and it was making me grumpy. When I started being snippy I figured I had had enough and went to bed. Of course going to bed so early made me wake up so early so here I am at 5:45 in the morning writing my blog entry. Sigh.

The cat's been escaping a lot lately. I think I am gonna leash her up in the basement. I don't know what to do. Every time you open the door she makes a run for it. Then she goes where you can't get her like under the neighbor's car. Any tips anyone?

Here's my fave photo today: (2 actually)

Poor Travis

November 11
Poor Travis
The poor guy hurt his ankle again. I feel so bad for him, he has the flu and now this. Poor guy just can't get a break. Plus he is duty tonight so he is stuck on the ship on Friday night. Alas for him!

Ian and I had a bath together. I put him in the tub but the hot water just seemed so tempting I got in with him and we splashed and played with the boats. It is a whole navy. I named the little boats. The little ship is the IPS Daddy, (cuz he works on a ship) the little sailboat is the IPS Mommy (cuz I want to take sailing lessons one day) and the little submarine is the IPS Baby. (cuz he is always underfoot) Wondering what IPS stands for? It means Ian's Plastic Ship!

The kitty escaped this morning, I don't know how. But she showed up at the back door later on all shivering. I wish she wasn't so dumb. As a punishment I held her down so Ian could "pet" her. Hee hee. He really likes her. His face lights up when he sees her. And she is pretty good with him, she lets him "pet" her, she doesn't growl or anything. And anybody who knows my cat knows that is pretty amazing, as she has been called "The Devil" "Satan Cat" "Pure Evil" and "Nasty Rotten Beast" by various people who have visited my home. Maybe she realizes Ian is a little higher up on the family heirarchy here.

I've been watching Degrassi a lot lately. Both the new one, and the old ones that run on showcase and showcase diva. They are pretty interesting. They sure bring back memories. It is really wierd because the kids on the old show seem so young, like little kids, but at the same time, when it originally aired and I watched it growing up the kids were all way older than me, I was in Elementary and Junior High school when it aired. So it is kind of surreal because part of my brain says they are kids and part of my brain says they are older than me. So all in all it is pretty bizarre. Anyway, Degrassi Junior High, Degrassi High, and Degrassi TNG are all pretty good shows and everybody should watch them if they get a chance (if only for the wierd clothes and hairstyles!)

Also you know that commercial for Wendy's Southwest Chicken Sandwich? The one where it is all close ups on the guy as he describes the sandwich? He has a gritty voice and he keeps describing the sandwich. He is like "I like it like that" and "Fo-ca-cia" and "nnngghh" in this raspy voice like Clint Eastwood. Anyway, every time I see that ad I just about pee my pants! It kills me, I don't know why but it is seriously the most hilarious thing on tv these days. I just thought I would point it out because it is my favorite commercial right now and it just came on tv a minute ago.

Well thats it for me today! Here is my fave pic for today: (they can't all be the baby, hahaha)

Surprise!!

Well, Travis came home early, so he got to see a messy house after all. :( But he is ok. Too tired to complain I guess. He has the flu. Poor guy.

We didn't do much else here today. Went and ran some errands, picked up a few things, etc. The weather was terrible today, raining and pouring on and off with terrible winds. There was a tree blown down across Lacewood Drive today. It just missed us when it fell! Well, actually, it was already there, but we almost hit it when we came around a curve too fast! Well, actually, we came by it long after it fell, and could see it a far way off so we just changed lanes. I was just fantasizing about some excitement in my life.

Ian did manage to sit himself up this morning by himself, I was very proud! I think it was an accident though. But that of course means he should be able to do it on purpose within a few days. So I guess that means there will be no stopping him! So I better get some rest now while I still can.

On that note, I am gonna turn in, but before I go, here is my favorite picture of the day:

Lazy Day

Well Ian did have bruises on his leg. I don't know why I didn't notice sooner, they are pretty big bruises. It doesn't seem to be bothering him though. He is finally babbling a bit too. We got some ba's, da's, and ma's in the last few days. Plus he can almost get on his hands and knees. His attempts still end up sometimes in a face plant though.

Lazy day here today, I watched Disney movies with Ian. Well I watched them while Ian sat nearby with his toys. He did watch them for a total of about 5 minutes. We went to the library yesterday so we got them all for free. We have to crack down and get lots of housework done tomorrow though because Travis gets home on Friday and I want the home to be welcoming.

In the meantime, I think I am gonna curl up on the couch with a hot cup of tea and watch... another Disney Movie!!

Big Mama

Well, I decided to make a graph to see where I am in my life. I am counting from my maximum pregnancy weight, that way it looks like I made some progress. I lost a lot of weight after Ian was born and it seems to have slowed but I am going to make a bit of an effort to keep it going so that I can be hot again. Ha ha. So I will try to update this once in a while. So here's the little graph:

Cute, eh? And here's a pic as well. It was taken Sept 11 2005, but I look pretty gross, and I don't look any better now. Good luck to me I guess.
