Ramblin On

1.Peach jam. That's the plan for today. I also think I should make bread, cookies, and blueberry muffins. I bought some blueberries at the store the other day but they aren't super awesome so I think I will bake them into something before they go to waste. I think we will go blueberry picking on Saturday as well so I can make some jam and syrup for Christmas.

I also need to take some pictures of the baby's room. It looks great! You all should see it. And I need to take a picture of myself as well.... I look great, you all should see me!

2. We've had an interesting week. Ian got in a fight with a kid, and got punched in the side of the neck. He was still stiff a few days later so I took him to the ER but the doctor said just to exercise it. Nothing broken. Plus, I had some kind of allergic reaction that got so bad I took myself to the ER. They said to take some Benadryl and suck it up. That resulted in several sleepless nights. I'm feeling much better now, although I am not 100 percent itch free.

3. We have had some mix ups with regard to the due date. Originally they set the date at September 25th. I was referred to get my ultrasound but there was a mixup in the paperwork and they had my first doctor's appointment set as the date of my last period and so they didn't call me in until I was 21 weeks. So then I measured big, and so the date was changed to the 18th. (I am not a fan of this because I want my 3 weeks while Ian is at school, dammit!!) But anyway, I finally saw the obstetrician and she said that since I was a) sure of my date and b) late for my ultrasound, we are going with the original due date of September 25th. So this puts me at 34 weeks and 5 days as of today. So I pretty much have 5 weeks to go. AAACKKK!!

4. Ian starts school in exactly 2 weeks. My baby! I'm getting kinda panicky about leaving him there for the whole day. I mean, he's just a little kid!!! We went to Walmart  to find a Super Mario back pack for him but they didn't have any. Someone was saying she took her kid to every single Walmart in HRM before finally getting the last one hidden behind some other ones at the last store. Good thing I didn't do that, I just bought him a generic back pack. I did get him a Super Mario shirt, though. Even those were pretty picked over.

We are planning on getting his room done sometime in the near future (next year or so) and he wants a Mario Bros. theme. I have been looking for Super Mario wall stickers for him but so far, no luck. Except for these super expensive ones online. So I will keep looking. Everybody's job is to let me know if you see them somewhere, preferably not on the internet.

5. Procrastination is my game, baby!! But eventually I do have to stop playing on the computer and go do the chores mentioned in 1. Above. TTYL!
