Vomit...The New Hair Cream

Grandma's here! Ian is having such a good time too! He sure loves Grandma. He got to stay here with her all day while I went to work. It was a nice day for him. They went outside. They had fun. Or so I hear.

After supper we stood Ian up and he got to practice walking back and forth to Mommy and Grandma. Back and Forth. Mommy was so proud of him she swung him up in the air. Well, his tummy could only take so much of that so one time I swung him up and his dinner swung back down...directly into my hair. MMM. Nothing beats regurgitated squash and Cheerios. Actually, not much made it into my hair, most of it landed on my shirt but there was a significant delegation sent into my mouth. I think the Cheerios didn't like it in Ian's tummy, so they decided to check out some of the other real estate.

But seriously, I don't know why my mom thought it was so funny. She couldn't stop laughing for like 12 minutes.

But I got her back.

I took a really stupid picture of her! Mwahahahahahah!

Good News and Bad News

Which do you want first? The bad news? Ok, it's up to you. The bad news is that I don't have a pic today. The good news is I have something great in the works. I am going to change my video tomorrow. I am going to make a tiny movie of my tiny man in his stripy jammies (my favorites) practicing his stepping. Yep, that's what I said! Stepping! He can stand there like a little statue and with much encouragement will proceed to step into his mommy's arms. Well, the one step seems to throw his balance off and he falls into his mommy's arms. But it's one step in the right direction! And only 8 1/2 months old!! What a little man. So stay tuned, folks, for Ians Walk On Role in tomorrow's Mommy Production!

Vampire Proof Baby

I've really been slacking off here. I can't believe how long it has been since I wrote! Actually the other day I wrote a whole big entry but my internet explorer froze up when I tried to post it, and I didn't feel like typing it all again.

Things here have been pretty dull, actually. Ian is the devil, nothing new there. He figured out how to drop the balls into the top of the tree house so he does that over and over. He just figured that out today and I am pretty proud of him.

Ian found garlic on the floor today. I roasted it up yesterday and it must have fallen on the floor but I didn't notice. So Ian found a whole clove of soft cooked garlic. He stuck it in his mouth, and i noticed a couple minutes later. I can't believe he didn't spit a clove of garlic out. He just chewed and sucked on it. When I finally noticed and took it away it was half gone. And now that kid smells so bad you wouldn't even belive it. He is so garlicky he could keep a whole league of vampires away. He seems happy though. He likes Caesar Salad too, so I guess he just has advanced tastes for his age. Maybe that's why he cries every time I feed him baby cereal!

It poured rain all day, so the 3 feet of snow on my back deck is down to 1. Hopefully it doesn't rain tomorrow. I have the day off and would like to be able to get out of the house with Ian. But we'll see how that goes. Either way, I vow to get some new pictures up here for all you distant relations. And now, I have to give Baby his bath (and hopefully de-garlic him). So bye until tomorrow!

Snow Day

I couldn't go to work today. There is too much snow. It is still snowing...I think. It might just be blowing around. Last night I was sad because it didn't seem like it was going to be that much snow but this moring I woke up to a 3 foot drift on my deck and a car that I am not even going to attempt to remove from the driveway. All buses here are cancelled and every school in the province as well. I took some pics for you all. Hope you like them.
